CHANEL JAMES

FOUNDER / CEO

Chanel James-Dixon is a graduate of Aveda Institute and has been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 14 years who has worked with clients for over 24 years ranging from as young as 2 years old to 85 years old. She has been in the hair business for over 20 years. While attending Aveda Institute she was the top seller of hair products in 2008 and won 1st place in the Aveda enrollment competition, to receive a full scholarship.

Knowing the foundation company and why they lead with 98% of Organic in each product gave her a goal to achieve or at least surpass when she wanted ingredients for own her own hair care line. The integrity and amount of due diligence that went into finding the best resources to make these products was extremely important to her.

While attending school it taught her the value of listening to the consumer and paying attention to detail but more importantly the desires of what the customer wants to achieve and how to make this a daily lifestyle with confidence. Mastering hair texture and curl patterns has allowed her to learn what products or substances work best on consumers even during environmental challenges. No matter the gender or age, her years of experience has shown her that education, and being innovative will help to achieve the goals of consumers with various hair types.

The desire to help people in a potentially trying time along with her passion for the hair and beauty industry is her driving force.
